In 1977 the war against Voldemort and his Death Eaters was in full swing with lives being lost on a near daily basis. Tired of seeing the papers filled with reminders of their failure to protect the citizens, the Ministry of Magic held a meeting and voted to reinstate the controversial Triwizard Tournament with new regulations in place to prevent any serious harm coming to the students. To help foster good will on an international scale, the tournament has been opened for the first time ever to three schools outside of Europe - Mahoutokoro, Magia de Olhado, and Salem Institute. It has been dubbed 'The Hexawizard Tournament' and the Minister is desperately hoping to turn some of their foreign competitors into allies.
